My bass fishing career started back in 2012 as a freshman in high school, fishing for the high school team in central Illinois. From there, I continued on my journey of tournament fishing during his time in the Army while stationed in Kentucky. I have continued to refine my skills and passion since my move back to Wisconsin in 2018. I have proudly been with Bassnut Lures since 2015.

Victor Burmeister
I grew up fishing at a very young age in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. My Dad and I were on the water or ice pretty much every weekend. I have over 30 years of experience in new product development, packaging and marketing. This year I will be fishing the UMBSC with Bassnut Lures owner Todd, along with other bass tournaments.

Mike Ferguson
I’ve been fishing since I was 4 years old for all species but have always loved catching bass. As of 3 years ago I was brought to the Bassnut Lures Pro Staff and started fishing in the Wisconsin Bass Team Trail, Wisconsin Elite Series and UMBCS. I have 3 top 10 finishes and one big bass award.

Brian Schultz
Brian is the founder of Bassnut Lures. He is an experienced guide, seminar speaker and tournament angler. He will continue to be involved with the company as a pro staff member and consultant.

Jim & Jon Backes
This father and son duo have been fishing together for a long time with nine year’s fishing competitively. They enjoy the early mornings at the boat ramp talking with friends and fellow anglers about fishing and hunting. They are always up for talking fishing and introducing the world of fishing to others.

Kurt Scheer
I have been fishing since I was two years old, starting tournament bass fishing in 1993 and guiding in 1995. I have won AOY in the Marshfield Bass Club 15 times and been in the top 3 in points most other years. I have numerous wins through top 5 finishes and I also take pride in the fact that at least 95% of all tournaments I have fished I have not finished outside the top half.

Dalton Scheer
I'm a third generation bass angler, trying to find my place in the industry. I've been in bass boats since I was a toddler and fishing tournaments since I was 8 years old. I've had some success in the Marshfield Bass Club with multiple wins and a few big bass wins.
